The Bible describes in detail the design for the first menorah. It stood in the Tent of Meeting in the wilderness and later in the Temple in Jerusalem. However, there won’t be a menorah in the New Jerusalem. The book of Revelation teaches that the Lamb Himself will be the light of that city.

The menorah is described in the Bible as the seven-lamp ancient Hebrew lamp-stand made of pure gold and used in the portable sanctuary set up by Moses in the wilderness and later in the Temple in Jerusalem.
