This Passover set features the word ‘Pessach’ in Hebrew in the center plate with the 6 elements in Hebrew and English.
The six elements of the traditional Passover Seder.
Maror – The bitter herb.
Z’roa – a roasted lamb shank bone.
Charoset – Mortar and brick (sweet mix).
Chazeret – A second bitter item.
Karpas – Parsley (Symbol of new beginnings).
Beitzah – Hard boiled egg.
Christians are increasingly observing the Passover (Biblical Feast) and benefiting from understanding how the elements of the Seder symbolize Jesus setting us free from bondage.
Now on the first day of the Feast of the Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?” And He said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples.” ‘ ” (Matthew 26:17-18)
