When Jacob was fleeing from his brother Esau, he stopped in a place called Bethel. He lay down and dreamed of a ladder reaching the Heavens, and of angels ascending and descending. God Himself stood at the top and promised the land to Jacob and his family. Jacob awoke and built an altar to worship. Years later, he would return to that same spot to worship again.
Each shofar is hand-painted in Israel and tested for sound quality.

The Shofar is hand painted by Sarit with deep enamel colors, then finished with a lacquer to preserve its beauty.
