Description

‘THE LORD’S SUPPER’ Olive wood communion set from Israel.

“DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME” engraved onto a small olive wood serving dish with 4 cups in a sackcloth bag. Set comes with Matzo bread and Jerusalem Grape Juice.

On the night before His death, Jesus took the bread and broke it and blessed it as a representation of His body. After His resurrection, as He sat at supper with the two disciples in Emmaus, the Bible says that they recognized Him when He broke the bread.

‘Putting on’ sackcloth in scripture is symbolic of the state of mourning a man would be in for his or a nations sin. Repenting for this fallen internal condition and outwardly confessing our need for God’s mercy and forgiveness brings the healing HE desires in our lives.

Hand carved by local Christian artists in the town of Jesus’ birth, Bethlehem.

In these days of the devil trying more than ever to destroy the family, the need for us to draw closer to JESUS – Today…. and break bread together as a family is crucial.

Jesus said “DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME”

For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
(1 Corinthians 11:23-25)

Shipped to you direct from Jerusalem.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
(Acts 2:42)
