Authentic 2000 year old “Widow’s Mite” coin set in a 925 silver flower frame pendant.
This striking Biblical pendant is sure to attract interest and questions about it’s meaning.
The “Widow’s Mite” is a small bronze Jewish prutah of Alexander Jannaeus (103-76 B.C.), which was reused as the small change during the time of Jesus and even later. It would have been the coin that Jesus referred to in his parable of the Widow’s Offering in Luke 21.
Pendant size: 1.2″ inch / 3.8 cm.
Weight: 6.4 gram.
The design on the front is a star, and the back is an anchor. The coin itself was minted only in the area of Judea, and is unique to Israel. Comes with a certificate of authenticity and all required documents for export.
A wonderful gift for any Christian.

I love my necklace! I never take it off. I love having something so meaningful and special from ancient Israel.
Zak has an amazing store. He was recommended to us by multiple local friends in the area. He is knowledgeable about his products and very trustworthy. We have formed a great relationship with him and have bought from him more than once! He is definitely our go-to person when looking for Israeli antiques. Highly recommend!!
