Authentic Silver Drachma coin of ‘Alexander the Great’ from 280 B.C. discovered on an archaeological dig in Israel.

This coin was struck under the name of Alexander the Great in Akko (Acre) around 280 B.C and set in a round sterling silver 925 pendant.

Side A: Head of Hercules wearing a lion skin on his head.
Side B: Zeus seated on a throne with scepter and an eagle, also inscription “Alexander” in Greek.

A great coin with major historical significance. Alexander the Great came to Israel in 333 B.C., and began a new era in the history of Israel, (Hellenistic period) lasting for the next 300 years.
