Description
Brass menorah from Israel with antique blue finish and ‘almond blossom’ design.
The first menorah gave light to the Tabernacle. When the congregation moved, the menorah, along with the other implements of the Tabernacle, was wrapped in a cloth of blue. Blue in the Bible represents royalty. The cloth was befitting the light of the King of the Universe.
The almond tree is the first tree in Israel, which awakes from its winter sleep to life and blooms. Therefore, the white almond blossom is a symbol of life and purity.
Size: 3.5″ / 9 cm.
Israeli made.
This is a functional menorah to be used with candles.
Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand.
(Exodus 25:33)
