The wise prophet Samuel came to Bethlehem to seek out the Lord’s Messiah, the Lord’s anointed. When he saw Eliab, David’s brother, he thought that surely he would be the next king. However, God had other plans.

The forgotten younger brother was out tending sheep but he was whom God had chosen to be Israel’s king. Later in the same village of Bethlehem, another king was born and wise men brought him gifts.

In His birth, Jesus was overlooked by many, but He was the Messiah, the son of David and the Anointed King of Israel.

This anointing oil is made in the Holy Land, the land Jesus walked. Using natural, pure Galilee and Jerusalem virgin olive oils, these elements are then scented with frankincense, myrrh, cassia and biblical flowers with herb essence characteristic of the Holy Land. 

Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon David from that day forward. And Samuel arose and went to Ramah.
