Description

‘Grafted in’ Messianic silver shofar from Jerusalem.

These shofars present a graphic picture of Apostle Paul’s words in Romans 11. Here he explains to the Gentiles that when they personally give their lives to Jesus, they are ‘grafted in’ to the natural olive tree of Israel and become partakers of all the promises of God.

As Gentile believers in Jesus, we were cut out of the wild natured olive tree of the nations and grafted into God’s olive tree, His people. We who were at one time far off have been brought nigh to God by the blood of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Creation of a family run business in Israel who have been making uniquely decorated shofar for generations.

Each decorated shofar is handmade in Israel and tested for sound quality before shipping.

● Size options: from 20″ to 48″ / 51 to 127 cm.
● 925 silver by electroforming.
● Made in Israel.
● Kosher shofar.

Note: Shofar length is measured around the edge of the shofar.

And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you. (Romans 11:17-18)

Please note that each shofar is unique due to the nature of the product, and that your shofar may vary slightly in color and shape from what you see in the image.

Comes with an optional olive wood shofar stand.

The shofar is spoken of frequently in scripture beginning at Exodus 19. where the blast of a shofar emanating from the thick cloud on Mount Sinai makes the Israelites tremble in awe.

The shofar is used to announce the new moon and the Jubilee year. The first day of the seventh month (Tishrei) is termed “a memorial of blowing”. Also they are sued to ‘sound the alarm’ (Joel 2) and signifying the start of a war. Later, they were also employed in the temple orchestra by King David.
