Three of the gifts that people brought Jesus were aromatic plant perfumes. When He was born, the wise men brought Him frankincense and myrrh. When He was ready to die, Mary anointed Him with spikenard in Bethany.

This anointing oil from Jerusalem contains all three of these scents, which we know that Jesus must have loved. When you anoint yourself or others, the perfumes speak of His birth, His life, and His death on Calvary.
